The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ and to train them to serve Him. Awana offers a curriculum that reaches kids and their families with the gospel. Awana’s proven and adaptable curriculum helps disciple kids to walk with Christ for life. The curriculum and programs start at age 2 and continue through age 18.
Puggles: For 18 month old to two year old children. Puggles recognizes the learning ability of young children by introducing biblical concepts at church and equipping families to teach them at home. This preschool ministry curriculum features playful activities, engaging songs and simple crafts as well as take-home resources.
Cubbies: Age 3-TK
This is a two year program for ages three through TK, which requires parental participation. The AppleSeed Handbook and HoneyComb Handbook teach basic Bible truths along with preschool concepts of colors, shapes, numbers and letters. The club time includes games, crafts, music, snack and puppetry. Cubbie Bear is the mascot and Cubbies wear a blue vest for their uniform.
Sparks: K-2nd Grade
Kindergarteners, first and second graders are “Sparkies”. The three Sparks handbooks and ranks are HangGlider (Kindergarten), WingRunner (1st grade), and SkyStormer (2nd grade). Sparky the firefly encourages and motivates children through handbook achievements. Handbooks provide Bible memorization curriculum and other Bible-centered activities. Sparks includes a fun firefly character named Sparky, a red vest with accompanying awards for “Sparkies” to wear, and a nature motif.
Truth & Training Club: 3rd-5th Grade
The Truth & Training Club (T&T) is designed for 3rd–5th grade. Clubbers work through one handbook a year. The handbook contains a variety of Bible memorization curriculum and other Bible-centered achievements. T&T’s uniform consists of a dark green t-shirt with the T&T logo.
