Church isn’t a building, it’s the community that God brings together. We are family and family walks through life together. Our Care Ministries are designed to meet you right where you are with the GRACE of God and to help you every step of the way.
Care Coaches are well-trained to provide quality emotional and spiritual support to those going through a difficult time. Care Coaches meet one-on-one with men paired with men and women with women. Meetings are confidential and Christ-centered.
If you have experienced a loss and are having difficulties, separation or divorce, or have a need for a hospital visit, you may want to consider a Care Coach. We’ll listen, pray, encourage, and walk along side of you as you go through your difficult time.
Intensive Care Coaching – This is a ministry to help you resolve personal and spiritual conflicts as a result of living with the world, flesh and the devil. Are you in bondage with old thoughts and habits? Are you struggling with strongholds such as anger, fear, anxiety, bitterness, unforgiveness and other spiritual issues? Intensive Care Coaches will help you find freedom in Christ and grow in the grace of God. For more information contact [email protected] or call 530 221-5683 x 1730.

The purpose of Neighborhood Church’s Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles.” By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power – Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.
We have programs for children and teens (birth through 12th grade). Kids kindergarten and under have playtime, snack and Bible story time. Kids 1st-6th grade have a structured evening that includes teaching from the Celebration Station CR curriculum, worship, prayer, craft and play. Teens 7th-12th grade participate in The Landing where they learn tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives. While adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids and teens 1st-12th grades discover the same truths through the age-appropriate CR curriculum. Child & teen check-in begins at 6 pm.

Support for families impacted by addiction
When people we love are struggling, we struggle as well. Sometimes we wish that we could fix their lives for them and we forget to care for our own needs, both physically and spiritually.
If you have a loved one in addiction, come find confidential support and spiritual encouragement Tuesday nights from 7-8pm in room 137 of the Ministry Center. Contact [email protected] to register or for more information.
